Have a backyard, living room, shared community space, or other welcoming place where families can gather?
Host a weekly Little Folkies class right in your neighborhood. You provide the space and help gather your community, and Little Folkies provides the teacher, curriculum, music, registration, promotional materials, and program support.
Choose a Public Community Class open to local families or create a Private Group Class just for your own group.
Classes are 40 minutes and run for a minimum of 6 weeks. Classes where families register individually require minimum full-series enrollment to run.
How It Works
1. Tell us about your space

2. We’ll find a teacher
We’ll review your request and get back to you within 2–3 business days with teacher availability in your area.
3. Gather your community
Invite local families, friends, neighbors, or members of your community to join the class.
4. Make music together!
Your Little Folkies teacher leads a joyful 40-minute weekly class right in your space.

HOST A COMMUNITY CLASS
Host the Class + Your Child Attends Free!
Open your class to families in your neighborhood. It can be an invites only class as long as we get minimum 10 students enrolled.
Little Folkies manages registration and payments. You provide the space and help spread the word to your local community.
As a thank-you for hosting, your own child attends the full session for free.
40 minutes · 6-week minimum · 10 paid full-series students required
The minimum is based on full-series registrations. Drop-ins, trials, makeups, and complimentary registrations do not count toward the minimum.
For classes hosted at a private home, your exact address remains private and is only shared with registered families.
PRIVATE GROUP CLASS
Create a Weekly Class Just for Your Group
Gather your friends, neighbors, parent group, homeschool community, or other private group for your own Little Folkies class.
Choose between individual registration or a flat-rate private class
OPTION 1: FAMILIES REGISTER INDIVIDUALLY
Each family registers and pays Little Folkies directly for the full session.

You provide the space and gather your group. Little Folkies handles registration and payments.
OPTION 2: FLAT-RATE PRIVATE CLASS
Want to guarantee your class without an enrollment minimum?
40 minutes · 6-week minimum · max 12 kids per class
Your group pays one flat weekly rate and decides how the cost is shared among participating families.
YOUR HOST SPACE
You don't need a professional studio to host Little Folkies!
Classes can take place in a backyard, living room, shared community room, neighborhood clubhouse, local park, or other family-friendly space.
Your space should be:
Safe and toddler-friendly
Comfortable for children and caregivers
Large enough for your group
Suitable for music and movement
Accessible and easy for families to find
We'll ask for a few photos and a short 360° video so we can get a sense of the space.
WHAT FAMILIES EXPERIENCE
Little Folkies classes combine live acoustic music, singing, movement, rhythm, instruments, and creative play.
Children build a joyful musical foundation while families sing, move, listen, play, and make music together.
