Little Folkies brings families together at your community center through live acoustic folk music, singing, fingerplays, movement, and play.
Little Folkies is an award-winning early childhood folk music program created by Irena Eide. Songs for Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, released by Smithsonian Folkways Recordings, forms the foundation of our curriculum.
Weekly Family Music Classes · 40 minutes · Ages 0–5 + grown-ups
Pop-Up Music Circles · 40 minutes · Ages 0–7 + grown-ups
Family Concerts · 45 minutes · Ages 0–7 + grown-ups
Your center provides the space and helps promote the program. Little Folkies provides the certified teacher, curriculum, program support, and promotional materials.
