The Teacher Partnership Program is a flexible, supported teaching model for musicians who love working with young children and want meaningful work, steady earning potential, and clear guidance.
You’ll lead joyful Little Folkies classes in your community while we provide the structure, tools, and ongoing support behind the scenes.
Everything is designed to feel clear, manageable, and well-supported — even with a busy schedule!

How it works!
Once you apply and are accepted into the Teacher Partnership Program, you’ll complete the Little Folkies Teacher Training and then be guided through a clear, step-by-step process so you always know what’s coming next. Here’s what to expect:
1. Onboarding & Setup
You’ll receive clear onboarding instructions and access to everything you need to get started before your session begins.
2. Weekly Guidance
Throughout the session, you’ll receive focused weekly guidance outlining exactly what to do — including simple admin tasks, promotion, and class support.
3. Teaching & Class Support You’ll lead your scheduled classes while the Little Folkies team supports you with systems, materials, and ongoing communication.
4. Ongoing Check-Ins & Support
Regular check-ins and support are built into the program so questions are addressed quickly and nothing falls through the cracks.
Little Folkies Online Teacher Course
Before teaching your first session, all Teacher Partners Must complete a short online training designed to help you feel confident, prepared, and supported. This Training Includes:
Teaching materials like songs, videos, and sheet music
Seasonal song workshops to support each session
Full class video guides to help you prepare
Coaching and support from an experienced Little Folkies teacher trainer
The training is designed to support you long-term, and many teachers are able to recoup the training fee after just a few classes.
The one-time training tuition is $475, and many teachers are able to recoup this cost after just a few classes.

Enjoy leading group classes and engaging a room
Feel comfortable singing and playing guitar
Appreciate clear guidance and communication
